Philadelphia Actors featured in "Annie" at Walnut Street Theatre

Leapin’ Lizards! Young talent from the Philadelphia region is featured in the Walnut Street Theatre’s production of the Tony-Award winning musical ANNIE, playing now through January 7.

Ellie Biron, a student at The Philadelphia School, makes her Walnut and stage debut performing as Molly in all weeknight performances of the musical.

She is joined by Ethan Jih-Cook, a Philadelphia resident and a student at Germantown Friends School. Jih-Cook performs in the children’s ensemble during all weeknight performances of the musical. He was recently seen in WST for Kid’s production of Honk! Jr. and has performed in Christmas Carol and South Pacific. Last season, he also appeared in the Arden Theatre Company’s production of Gypsy.

Biron and Jih-Cook are also members of the Theatre School at Walnut Street Theatre, along with all 24 of their orphan cast-mates.
