Philly Named 16th Most Fun City In U.S. By WalletHub

PHILADELPHIA – Philly is full of fun things to do. From the trails, parks, eateries, sports teams, nightlife, museums, kids activities, and more, the city provides ample opportunity for a good time for anyone.

And WalletHub recognizes that and listed Philadelphia as on of the country's most fun cities.

The financial website released its list of 2017 Most Fun Cities in the United States and Philly made the top 20.

According to WalletHub, Philly is the 16th most fun city in the nation.

How did they calculate that rank?

In order to determine the most fun cities in the U.S., WalletHub’s analysts compared the 150 most populated cities across three key dimensions: entertainment and recreation, nightlife and parties, and costs.

Philly beat out its western rival Pittsburgh, which earned a No. 24 rank.

The top city was Las Vegas, Nevada. Orlando, New York City, Miami, and Portland, Oregon rounded out the top 5 most fun cities.

At the bottom of the list was Oxnard, California.
