Preview 'Gypsy' While Benefiting Pennsylvania SPCA
You can see "Gypsy" at the Arden Theatre before it officially opens, all while helping the Pennsylvania SPCA's life saving mission.

PHILADELPHIA – "Gypsy" will premier at the Arden Theatre in Philadelphia on Thursday, May 18. However, theater lovers and animal lovers can see a performance before it official opens.
At 8 p.m., Wednesday, May 17 the Arden Theatre will show a "pay-what-you-can" performance of "Gypsy" to benefit the Pennsylvania SPCA.
In lieu of buying tickets, attendees will be asked to make a donation to the SPCA at the door.

Theatergoers looking to see the May 17 performance will be treated to the show's last full dress rehearsal before its premier.
Tickets or reservations are not necessary for this performance.

"Gypsy" is based on memoirs from famous actor and burlesque performer Gypsy Rose Lee. The show features many musical numbers such as "Everything's Coming up Roses," "Together (Wherever We Go)" and "Small World."
The show stars David Bardeen as Uncle Jocko, etc.; Rachel Camp as June; Caroline Dooner as Louise; Monica Horan as Tessie Tura and Miss Crachitt; H. Michael Walls as Pop, Goldstone, etc.); and Mary Martello as the titular Gypsy Rose.
"Gypsy will run from May 18 to June 18 at the Arden Theatre.
The theater is located at 40 N. 2nd St., Philadelphia.
