South Philadelphia Actor Shines in Disney's "Aladdin Jr."

Andre Brockenbrough Jr. of South Philadelphia plays the Sultan in the Walnut Street Theatre's production of Aladdin Jr.

Shining, shimmering, splendid! A young actor from South Philadelphia plays the Sultan in the Walnut Street Theatre’s production of Disney’s ALADDIN JR, beginning September 22nd through September 30th.

Based on the timeless animated film and hit Broadway show, Disney’s ALADDIN JR. is filled with magic and thrills the whole family will enjoy. When street urchin Aladdin falls for the strong-willed Princess Jasmine, he gets help from a fun-loving Genie to outsmart the wicked Jafar and win her hand. Get on your flying carpet and join us on a soaring musical adventure!

Andre Brockenbrough Jr. takes the stage in his Walnut debut for ALADDIN JR. Currently, Andre is a 7th grader at the St. Monica School. Since 2017, Andre has been attending the Walnut Theatre School taking inspiration to become an actor from comedians like Kevin Hart. In addition to acting, Andre plays football with the Delaware Valley Youth Athletic Association and participates in Autism Speaks in support of his younger brother.
