Visit the Woman Who Created America's First Flag in Philadelphia's Historic District

Carol Spacht, historic interpreter of Betsy Ross, was a guest recently on WWDB 860 “Lifestyles” radio show.

She was interviewed by Kierstyn Satkowski, who is also the show’s associate producer.

Carol described what it’s like portraying the “3rd” Betsy Ross in the historic Betsy Ross House, as well as, what it takes to make the perfect 5 pointed star for the American flag. When Carol is not interpreting Betsy, you can find her portraying many others such as, Martha Washington at Valley Forge National Park. To visit Carol as Betsy, head over to the Betsy Ross House http://historicphiladelphia.org/what-to-see/
