Three young actors and actresses will ring in the holidays in the Walnut Street Theatre's production of Charles Dickens' "A Christmas Carol"
Hark! The holiday season has arrive! As the winter temperatures begin to drop and snow begins to fall on the streets of Philadelphia, the Walnut Street Theatre prepares to deliver holiday cheer to theatergoers in an upcoming production of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol.
On one remarkable Christmas Eve, Ebenezer Scrooge is visited by three ghosts who show him past, present—and possible future. You and your favorite kids are in for a treat with a special hour-long musical adaptation for kids that uses traditional songs to highlight Dickens’ magical story. Deck the halls as our holiday spirits travel beyond the footlights, right into your very own heart.
Aanand Shah, a 6th grade student at the Julia R. Masterman School, takes part in the school's choir where he gets the opportunity to perform with his fellow classmates. In this production he will play the "Turkey Boy."
