Phoenixville MS Choir Advances In More 101.1 FM's Contest

PHOENIXVILLE, PA — Phoenixville Area Middle School's Vocal Ensemble has done it.

They advanced from the semifinal round of 101.1 More FM's 9th Annual Christmas Choir Competition, defeating challengers Eleanor Rush Intermediate School and Spring-Ford Middle School.

They will now advance onto the final round, and will face off against the winners of Tuesday's and Wednesday's competitions. Each day features three different K-8 choirs from throughout the Philadelphia region.

The grand prize winner of the competition receives a $5,000 cash prize and an opportunity to perform with The Philly Pops at the Kimmel Center in Philadelphia.

The high school division's semifinalists will be announced at the end of the week.
