Search Continues For Collegeville Girl, Last Seen In Phoenixville

Authorities believe that Meghan Dougherty, 16, may have run away from home. Have you seen her?

PHOENIXVILLE, PA — The search continues into the New Year for missing Collegeville teenager Meghan Doughtery.

Dougherty, 16, was last seen on Franklin Street in Phoenixville, according to authorities. Police said on Tuesday that they now believe Dougherty may have run away from home.

Dougherty was carrying an aqua-colored blanket when she went missing, according to family.

She could be in Montgomery County or Chester County, or in the Kensington area in Philadelphia, according to authorities. Specifically, Phoenixville and Pottstown were noted as possible locations.

Dougherty also went missing back in late August, and was found safely in September.

She stands 5 feet, 3 inches tall and weighs about 100 pounds. She also has brown eyes and blonde hair.
