Comcast Offers Free WiFi Hotspots During Coronavirus Outbreak
The media company also is providing unlimited data and won't disconnect service during the coronavirus outbreak.

PITTSBURGH, PA - With the coronavirus outbreak forcing people to work and study from home, Comcast is providing customers unlimited data at no additional charge and also making its network of Xfinity WiFi hot spots free for everyone.
The media conglomerate also said it won't disconnect service or apply late fees if customers can't pay their bill during the outbreak. Comcast also is offering new low-income customers free internet service for 60 days and is boosting their broadband speeds.
“During this extraordinary time, it is vital that as many Americans as possible stay connected to the internet – for education, work, and personal health reasons,” Dave Watson, Comcast Cable chief executive officer, said in a statement. “Our employees also live and work in virtually every
community we serve, and we all share the same belief that it’s our company’s responsibility to step up and help out.”
