New Big Burrito Group Restaurant Details Disclosed

PITTSBURGH, PA - Details on Big Burrito Group's first Lawrenceville restaurant have been disclosed. The new eatery will be a casual offshoot of the chain's successful Alta Via brand and tentatively has been named Alta Via Pizza.
Located at 3529 Butler Street, Alta Via Pizza is slated to open in October.
"Big Burrito Group is excited to introduce a new concept in a neighborhood that is vibrant, charismatic and enjoying a successful renaissance," the company stated in documents posted on the Lawrenceville Development Corporation website. "We look forward to becoming a vital member and contributor in a strong residential neighborhood which includes a thriving mix of eclectic shops restaurants and varied businesses."

Alta Via Pizza will have about 25 tables inside and six to eight tables outside. There also will be a bar seating about 15. The restaurant's tentative hours will be 11 a.m.-11 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 11 a.m.-midnight on Friday and Saturday.
Big Burrito opened the first Alta Via in Fox Chapel last spring. It will open a second one in January 2021 in McCandless in the former TGI Friday's on Corporate Drive off of Route 19.

Big Burrito also owns the Mad Mex chain, Casbah, Eleven, Kaya, Soba and Umi.
