Paramedic's Tragic Death, Pgh. Restaurant Reopens & More: Weekly Wrap

PITTSBURGH, PA — Nick Theofilis accomplished much in his 23 years. As a youth, he was an Eagle Scout. He was a member of the Naval ROTC and a volunteer firefighter for Rosedale Fire Department #222 in Penn Hills. He was a certified lifeguard and CPR instructor and was in the process of becoming a master mason.

That he was involved in so many things and deeply involved in public service made the Penn Hills paramedic's death in an accident involving his ambulance this week all the more painful for all who knew him.

RIP, Mr Theofilis.
