PITTSBURGH, PA - Former WDVE-FM morning show host Scott Paulsen hasn't been on a local radio station regularly for years. But the outpouring of sentiments after word broke that he had departed Pittsburgh for a job at a Virginia station is a testament to his enduring popularity here.
"I left Pittsburgh 26 years ago, but always made it a point to listen to Scott whenever I returned
home. I woke up to him every morning as a teen and young adult," Caitlyn Rooney commented on a Facebook post on Paulsen's new gig. "Best of luck to you, sir."
Wrote Michael Kobierecki: "Scott, you are a Pittsburgh legend. You will be missed!"
