Pittsburgh-Area Wind Chill Advisory Issued
If you need to be outside for the next few days, be aware of the frostbite risk.

PITTSBURGH, PA - Dangerously cold air has begun moving into southwestern Pennsylvania, prompting the National Weather Service to issue a wind chill advisory for the region.
The advisory will be in effect from 5 a.m. Wednesday until 5 p.m. on Thursday.
With wind chills in the Pittsburgh area expected to plunge to around 20 degrees below zero during that time, the weather service is warning that frostbite can occur on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes.

Expect falling temperatures during the day today, with a low tonight of around 4. Temperatures will go virtually nowhere on Wednesday, with a forecasted high of around 6.
Sunny and cold conditions are forecast for Thursday with a high of around 10. After a low Friday morning of around 5, temperatures will begin to moderate, with Friday’s high expected to be in the low 20s.
