PITTSBURGH, PA — The Allegheny County Health Department has issued a consumer alert for the Oak Hill Market on Oak Hill Drive in the city's Terrace Village section. The market is a convenience store that also sells prepared foods.

An inspection conducted Tuesday revealed too many rodent droppings to count in the convenience store's corners and under chips on the shelves. A bag of gnawed cheese curls was found. Evidence of rodent wall nesting was found along a wall in the receiving area.

According to the inspection report, dirt in the market made it difficult to distinguish between dirt and mice droppings.
