PITTSBURGH, PA - To say it was a bad week for management at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette is an understatement.

The week began with the newspaper getting national coverage after pulling two black journalists from the coverage of demonstrations in the city protesting the death of George Floyd.

That was followed by a stunning rebuke from Giant Eagle. The grocery chain announced it was halting sales of the newspaper in its stores “until the publication demonstrates an equal commitment to all those in the communities it serves."
