PITTSBURGH, PA — It's been said that you reap what you sow, and when you sowed using pepper spray on a police officer while attempting to overthrow the government, prepare to be reaped.

That's the costly lesson learned this week by Peter Schwartz, 49, of Uniontown, Fayette County, who was convicted this week on a variety of charges related to his participation in the January 6, 2021 Capitol riot.

Not only did he pepper spray police officers, he threw a folding chair at them. Impolite, to say the least.
