Construction Update: Plymouth, Conshohocken, Whitemarsh all Seeing Construction
A rundown of where roadwork is being done this week.

While Irene is still affecting PennDOT has announced the following construction projects for the area. All projects are set to take place during the week of August 30 unless otherwise noted.
The following areas will undergo construction:
- Walton, Apollo and Township Line Roads in Plymouth: Construction cres will be excavating for detention basins and sedimentation traps and installing right-of-way fencing from 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. through Friday, September 2.
- Walton Road, Allandale Road, Colton Drive, Loretta Lane and Timberfare Circle in Plymouth: Construction cres will be performing cleaning operations from 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. through Wednesday, August 31.
- Township Line Road Bridge in Plymouth: Construction cres will be working on the Township Line Road Bridge through Friday, September 2 from 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. There are no restrictions planed as a result of the work, but drivers should proceed with caution in the area.
- Interstate 76 east and westbound in Conshohocken: Maintinence crews will be working on I-76, causing a slow moving right lane closure between Conshohocken and City Avenue. The work will take place from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and will last through Friday, Septmember 2.
- Chemical Road in Plymouth: Crews will be performing overhead bridge painting. Drivers should expect lane closures between Ridge Pike and Gallagher Road. The work will take place from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and will last through Wednesday, August 31.
