Lanes Closed on I-476 Through Monday
Construction will close lanes on the highway between Conshohocken and Plymouth from Saturday through Monday.

Interstate 476 northbound between Conshohocken and Plymouth will see lane closures through the weekend starting on Saturday, according to a release from PennDOT.
According to the release, I-476’s northbound left lane on the northbound side of the highway will be closed for 36 hours from Saturday, October 8 to Monday, October 10 for road construction. Crews are scheduled to set new concrete in place in the center of the highway.
Additionally, northbound “express” lane on the southbound side of the highway will be closed from 11 p.m. Saturday (Oct. 8) to 8 a.m. Sunday (Oct. 9) for the installation of a drainage pipe in the median, the release states.

The construction is part of an ongoing project to rebuilt I-476 in the Plymouth-Whitemarsh area between Exit 16 in Conshohocken and Exit 20 in Plymouth. The project’s estimated cost is over $71 million in federal funds.
