Traffic Alert: Construction Coming to Plymouth
Drivers in Plymouth Township may encounter roadwork through Friday.

Several Plymouth Township roads will be under construction the week of August 15 as part of an ongoing Northeast Extension reconstruction and winding project.
According to a release from PennDOT, travelers are advised to proceed with caution in the following areas:
- Oak Ridge, Rosewood and East Side Drives will be under construction from 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. from Monday, August 15 to Thursday, August 18. Construction crews will be installing noise wall posts.
- Walton, Apollo and Township Line Roads will be under construction from 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, August 17 and Friday, August 19. Construction cres will be performing “clearing operations.”
- Excavating, equipment moving and backup alarm operations will continue in non-residential areas of Plymouth, according to the release. Residents adjacent to work areas may hear general construction noise between 6 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. through Firday, August 19.
