At least two of the prospective top models on the German edition were revealed to have caught the head-scratching and highly contagious bugs.
“I have no idea where they came from,” contestant Anna Maria, 16, said. “I probably tried on a hat while shopping, and suddenly I had lice.” Lice don’t jump they crawl and they are easily transferred with trying on clothes others had on.

Klum, 39, confirmed the lice “a little souvenir from New York,” where the last episode was filmed.
