SWAT Teams Serve 'High Risk' Warrant At Lower Pottsgrove Home
The search warrant was connected to a series of shootings, robberies, and carjackings in Philadelphia, police said.
LOWER POTTSGROVE, PA — Montgomery County SWAT teams descended on a home in Lower Pottsgrove early Wednesday morning to serve a "high risk" search warrant related to a series of carjackings, shootings, and robberies in Philadelphia.
Police said an individual was arrested during a traffic stop in Lower Pottsgrove on firearms charges a few months ago. Further investigation found that this person, who was identified publicly by police, was connected to the incidents in Philadelphia.
Police then found that the man had either previously lived at the home in Lower Pottsgrove or had "very close connections" to it.

SWAT teams arrived at the home, located on 2300 Brown Street, at 6 a.m. Wednesday, and quickly secured it. No arrests were made and further evidence was secured. Details were limited because the investigation remains active.
Police said several other individuals have already been arrested and charged with attempted murder in connection with the incidents, and litigation is ongoing.
