October 19 Program to Discuss Mortgage Rates, Special Programs
 
WYOMISSING, PA – Tompkins VIST Bank is hosting a free online webinar on Tuesday, October 19 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. on how first-time homebuyers can prepare to purchase a home. The program will include a discussion of mortgage rates and special programs for people purchasing their first home. The speakers will be Matthew Sullivan, residential mortgage originator; Michael Parelli, business development officer and branch manager; Michele Pedraza, residential mortgage associate; and Vicki Ide, Tompkins VIST Bank’s head of residential mortgage lending.

This is the fifth homebuying program the bank has offered, and they remain very popular and interactive, according to Ide.  “We’re committed to educating our communities about financial topics, and with mortgage rates remaining low this is a great opportunity to connect with people about this important subject,” she said.  She added that this will be the last such webinar for 2021, but the bank will continue to join with other organizations that are hosting events that support home buying.
