2 Manayunk Ice Cream Spots Among Region's Best: Philly Magazine

MANAYUNK, PHILADELPHIA — In case you've missed it: it's very hot outside.

And one of the best ways to get respite from this oppressive heat is a nice scoop (or two or three) of ice cream.

But where in the region can you get the best ice cream?

Luckily, Philadelphia Magazine published a new list of the best ice cream places in and around Philadelphia.

Among the spots featured are two Manayunk ice cream spots.

Philly Mag named Tubby Robot Ice Cream Factory and C & C Creamery as two of the region's best.

Here's what the publication says about C & C Creamery, located at 5461 Ridge Ave. in Manayunk:

This seasonal spot on Ridge Avenue has been serving up frozen treats and baked sweets for several decades. Head there for house-made water ice, soft serve, shakes, and malts.
