• Repairs underway on a Sewickley Heights road that's been closed for more than 2 years (triblive.com) — Backbone Road between Sewickley Heights and Bell Acres is finally under major repair after landslides kept it closed for more than two years, disrupting access from Sewickley and nearby communities. Crews are stabilizing the hillside, rebuilding the roadway, and improving guardrails, with work expected to last about 20 days and temporary lane restrictions on Little Sewickley Creek Road.
