Crozer-Keystone Health System is hosting two free skin cancerscreenings this May. Each appointment will include a clinical exam by a qualified physician.
Skin cancer strikes more people worldwide than any other form of cancer. Skin cancer, especially melanoma, can be deadly, but catching it early can provide a better chance for successful treatment. Crozer-Keystone’s team of board-certified dermatologists and dermatologic surgeons can help diagnose and treat all types of skin cancer.

The main cause of skin cancer is ultraviolet radiation from sunlight, especially when spending too much time in the sun. Other skin cancer risk factors include the overuse of tanning beds, smoking, fair skin, severe sunburns as a child, multiple moles and advanced age.
