SEPTA Train Kills Man Just Outside Delco Tuesday

The same night a female student was killed on the Main Line by a SEPTA train, a man was hit and killed by a Media/Elwyn Regional Rail train.

DELAWARE COUNTY, PA — A man was killed after being hit by a SEPTA train Tuesday night in Southwest Philadelphia, according to SEPTA officials.

The man was hit at about 7:35 p.m. near the Angora Station, just outside Delaware County, Tuesday.

His identity has yet to be released.

Philly.com reports the man is in his late 40s to early 50s.

The man was struck at about the same time a woman attending a local college was struck and killed by a Norristown High Speed Line train on the Main Line Tuesday night.
