Support Media Happiness Week as the Healthplex Leads "Happy Dance Party"

Join the Healthplex Sports Club for a “Happy Dance Party” in Media on Friday, May 8 at 6:15 p.m. to support Transition Town Media and Happiness Week 2015.

Transition Town Media Organizers have arranged for a live band to perform during the “Happy Dance Party” in Media (Veterans Square between State and Front Streets). Members of the public are invited to attend and participate in this Zumba street dance event.

Healthplex Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor, Alex Young will be leading the Zumba dance routine to the song “Happy” and Group Fitness Instructor, Anhara Webb will lead the second song “Dancing in the Streets” so don’t miss out on the excitement. Again, all are welcome to participate in this fun street dance event. Healthplex Instructors will be teaching these routines in some of their regular Zumba classes plus the video will be posted online via YouTube for those who are not members of the Healthplex or cannot make a class to practice.

Special thanks to Transition Town Media Organizers and band The Edge with Stephen Wise, who will play happy dance music for about an hour, after which attendees are invited to stay and enjoy the shops and restaurants in Media, many of which will be having Happiness specials that evening.
