Gas Leak Evacuates Tredyffrin School Monday: Berwyn Fire Company
PECO crews have secured the leak, but part of West Valley Road remains closed, according to the fire company.
TREDYFFRIN, PA — Crews have fixed a gas leak that led to the evacuation of a school and closed West Valley Road in Tredyffrin as crews respond, according to the Berwyn Fire Company.
The fire company said PECO crews secured the leak at the Woodlynde School on the 400 block of Upper Gulph Road by about 2:45 p.m. Monday.
According to the fire company, students and staff at the school were evacuated as a precaution.

West Valley Road is closed between Upper Gulph Road and School Lane, the fire company said.
Police are on scene working to control traffic.
