Paoli Bank Robbed, Less Than $30 Stolen
Police said a West Lancaster Avenue bank was robbed of a meager amount Monday morning. Anyone with information is urged to contact police.
PAOLI, PA – A bank in Paoli was robbed of less than $30 Monday morning and Tredyffrin Township Police are searching for the robber.
Police said the robbery occurred at about 9 a.m. on Monday, July 2 at the Mt&T Bank branch located on the 1700 block of West Lancaster Avenue in Tredyffrin's Paoli neighborhood.
A man came into the bank and demanded staff to get on the floor and got in the teller line, police said.

The robber made off with less than $30 police said and fled the area heading east on Lancaster Avenue toward Radnor Township, police said.
No weapon was used in the robbery and no one was hurt, according to police.

The suspect is described as an African-American man standing 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall with a medium build. He was wearing gray coveralls, gloves, a tan overcoat, sunglasses and hat and drove a black sedan, possibly a BMW, police said.
