Parts of Jacksonville Road Closed

Jacksonville Road will be closed between Sienna Circle and Gwyn Lynn Drive starting today, Aug. 27.

While a water main is replaced, Route 332 (Jakcsonville Road) will be closed Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. through Sept. 7, according to information provided by PennDOT.

Northampton Township Engineer James Majewski said that traffic will be detoured on Bristol Road, Hatboro Road and Almshouse Road and that construction is estimated to last two weeks, but "possibly less."

Residents should allow extra travel time for detours and Majewski suggested drivers obey the posted speed limit as Northampton Police will be out enforcing the speed limit.
