Camp Invention was created with inspiration from the National Inventors Hall of Fame Inductees. It is the ONLY nationally recognized summer program focused on creativity, innovation and the spirit of creative problem-solving through invention, all inspired by the world's foremost inventors!
Boyce Middle School is hosting the Camp Invention Create program, where children rotate through various modules each day.
In the I Can Invent: Launchitude module, children combine physics and re-engineered household items to create the Ultimate Duck Chucking device.
In Problem-Solving on Planet Zak, the children will crash land on an alien planet, where they design shelters and spacesuits in order to survive the planet's harsh living conditions.
Children will explore "green" city design and build an eco-friendly infrastructure in the Saving Sludge City module.
In Geo-Games, the children create games, game pieces and equipment from everyday items.
