Living Muslim in PA

Imam AbduSemi'h Tadese, of the Islamic Center of Pittsburgh, will discuss some of the common misconceptions of Islam and the role of adherence to the true Islamic teachings of peaceful co-existence, which date back to the beginning of the first Islamic state.

During the month of September a special display of books and videos as they relate to Islam will be available in the library. This display is provided through a National Endowment for the Humanities grant. USC Library is one of 840 libraries and state humanity councils nationwide receiving this special collection of materials.  They are intended to address the Public's need and desire for trustworthy and accessible resources about Muslim beliefs and practices and the cultural heritage associated with Islamic civilizations.
