1st Annual Make A Difference Children’s Foundation Run Set For Saturday

The first annual Make A Difference Children's Foundation 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run is being held Saturday, Nov. 12 in Warminster and registration is open now.

Registration for the run is $27.50 until midnight Nov. 7. On Nov. 8, the cost goes up to $32.50 for 5K runners.

The fun run cost is $12 until midnight Nov. 7 with the cost going up to $17.5o Nov. 8.

All costs include a small SignUp fee of $2 and $2.50.

The fun run is scheduled for p a.m. while the 5K will begin at 9:30 a.m.

Participants will gather at Warminster Community Park, 300 Veterans Way, Warminster before the event.

The foundation grew out of a service-learning program at Jamison Elementary School called the Make A Difference Kids. MADCF’s mission is to teach children that they are never too young to make a difference and have a positive impact on the world.
