265 Citations Issued In State Police Traffic Crackdown
State Police Troop M conducted the enforcement detail Wednesday in Bucks and two other counties.
BUCKS COUNTY, PA —State Police issued 265 traffic citations during a troop-wide traffic enforcement detail throughout Bucks and surrounding counties Wednesday.
The Pennsylvania State Police Troop M, Bethlehem, announced the results of the detail which covered Bucks, Lehigh, and Northampton counties.

- 124 Warnings
- 2 Driving Under the Influence (DUI) Arrest
- 2 Traffic Stop with Operator Warrant
- 1 Drug Arrest
The objective of this operation was to conduct aggressive, visible enforcement resulting in increased highway safety, state police said.
Motorists are also reminded of the mandates of Title 75 Section 3733, fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer, which stipulates that any driver of a motor vehicle who willfully fails or refuses to bring their vehicle to a stop, or who otherwise flees or attempts to elude a pursuing police officer, commits an offense, graded up to a felony of the 3rd degree, which carries a maximum sentence of seven years in prison, a $15,000 fine, and restitution for damages and/or injuries sustained as a result of the pursuit.
