3 Catalytic Converters Stolen In Warminster

Warminster Police are seeking the public's help in finding two men involved in the thefts that took place overnight Tuesday.

WARMINSTER, PA —The Warminster Township Police Department is seeking the public's help in finding the suspects involved in three catalytic converter thefts this week.

Warminster Township Police said it is investigating the three thefts that took place during the overnight hours of Tuesday into Wednesday morning. Police believe the thefts were likely between 3 a.m. and 5 a.m. Wednesday.

Two catalytic converters were stolen from the area of Gibson Avenue while the other was taken from the area of Hawthorne Street.

Warminster Police are asking residents in those specific areas with video surveillance to check and see if they captured any suspicious activity during that time period.

Police said preliminary information indicates that possibly two men are involved and that they used a small sedan as transportation.

Additionally, police said the men targeted vehicles that were parked in the street. They also utilized a "Jack" device to elevate the vehicles and then a "SawZaw" device to cut the catalytic converters from the vehicles.

Each theft was likely committed in five minutes or less, police said.
