It's Easter weekend! Celebrate with numerous events throughout communities in Bucks County.

BUCKS COUNTY, PA —It's Easter weekend.

So a Good Friday to all and a Happy Easter Sunday to all who celebrate. As we close out the final weekend of March (already!) and get ready for those April showers, we also welcome the return of Major League Baseball and our hopes that the Philadelphia Phillies can have a strong season.

While many people —well, mainly children —will get an Easter basket on Sunday, a lot of kids will be chasing after eggs during those traditional Easter Egg Hunts that many Bucks County communities plan to hold this weekend.

Saturday is the perfect day for Easter Egg Hunts in Bucks County on the day before the holiday. You can find ones in Ivyland, Doylestown and most communities. Check the schedules of your town's website for further details as to where and when. And let the kiddies loose!

"Big" —The Musical Playing At Bristol Riverside Theatre

Based on the 1988 smash-hit film, Big is a fun-filled musical perfect for the entire family. The event is at the Bristol Riverside Theatre, 120 Radcliffe St., Bristol,from March 21 to April 14, recurring weekly on Sunday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Tickets are $65.

Elmo's Eggstravaganza Continues At Sesame Place

Elmo’s Eggstravaganza continues at Sesame Place through April 7. The Middletown Township amusement park is celebrating Easter fun with the Sesame Street Party Parade, Meet & Greets with the one and only Easter Bunny, and lots more egg-citing offerings. Sesame Street friends, dressed in their festive Easter attire, will be available for Meet & Greets at Photos with Elmo & Friends and on the Sesame Street Neighborhood. Andalusia Opens For New Season Monday In Bensalem Township
