5 Travel Tips for a Stress-Free Vacation

According to a recent AAA Travel survey, nearly 100 million Americans are planning a vacation in 2019. • Plan to arrive at your destination two days prior to cruise or land tour to allow for jet lag and/or missing luggage to catch up.

• Make and carry copies of your passport, driver’s license, medical cards, and credit cards. Place the hard copy in your hotel safe. Also keep a copy of above on your cell phone or tablet, labeled as something other than what it is, in case your device falls into unwanted hands.

• Leave a copy of your itinerary, phone contact numbers, copies of important cards, passport, and medical info with a family member or close friend at home in case of emergencies.

• Invest in travel insurance in case you have to cancel your plans last minute.

• In addition to luggage tags, have your name, home address, phone numbers and destination contact information inside your baggage.
