'All Of Us Should Be Outraged' At Threats To Muslims: PA Governor Issues Statement
"Pennsylvanians will not tolerate hate. We will not tolerate injustice. We will not tolerate unfairness,' Governor Tom Wolf said.

Gov. Tom Wolf says all Pennsylvanians should be “outraged” about recent reports of threats to Muslims, including one incident in which a severed pig’s head was found in front of a Philadelphia mosque.
“Pennsylvania and Pennsylvanians will not tolerate hate. We will not tolerate injustice. We will not tolerate unfairness. All of us should be outraged by what happened outside the Al Aqsa Islamic Society mosque in Philadelphia this Sunday night. What happened is a direct affront to Muslims and is a direct affront to every Pennsylvanian who holds dear the principles that this commonwealth was founded on,” Wolf said in a statement.
“Our Muslim community is part of the fabric of Pennsylvania that makes us great. Its members are our brothers and sisters, our aunts and uncles, our fathers and our mothers. They own businesses and help build our communities,” he said.

“The commonwealth stands ready to assist the city of Philadelphia in any way it can to get to the heart of what happened on Sunday night and to bring the perpetrator of this terrible injustice to justice.”
The controversy comes in conjunction with comments issued recently by Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, who has called on a ban of Muslims from the United States.

Trump drew controversy after he issued a statement saying the United States should bar all Muslims from entering the country until the nation can “figure out what is going on.”
Trump issued the following statement:
“Until we are able to determine and understand this problem and the dangerous threat it poses, our country cannot be the victims of horrendous attacks by people that believe only in jihad and have no sense of reason or respect for human life.”
