Ann’s Choice Awards More Than $300,000 in Scholarships

32 graduating high school seniors and one college student were awarded $8,000 scholarships from the community.

On June 5, Ann’s Choice Retirement Community, an Erickson Living retirement community in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, hosted family, friends, residents, and staff at its annual Scholar Awards Ceremony. At the event, 32 graduating high school seniors and one college student were awarded $8,000 scholarships from the community to support their pursuit of higher education. Also,12 students received donor-designated named scholarships totaling $39,300.

The Scholar’s Program is funded by the residents of Ann’s Choice to support high school students employed on campus who have shown commitment to serving the Ann’s Choice community. Qualifications include working 1,000 hours at Ann’s Choice during their junior and senior years in high school, maintaining satisfactory grades, building positive relationships with residents and maintaining a strong employment record.

“Thank you to our charitable residents for supporting this remarkable program to support our student scholars,” said Philanthropy Manager Robin Kaufold.
