Ann's Choice Celebrates 15th Anniversary

Residents and staff came together to commemorate this significant milestone with a birthday party on campus.

On August 1, Ann’s Choice, an Erickson Living community in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, celebrated its fifteenth anniversary as one of the most popular senior living communities in Southern Pennsylvania. Residents and staff came together to commemorate this significant milestone with a birthday party on campus.

Throughout the day, members of the community enjoyed special events including a traveling Mummers style band playing Sounds of Philly during lunchtime followed by refreshing homemade treats from the Sweet Pea Ice Cream Truck in the afternoon. The festivity continued in the evening with residents enjoying a pre-dinner champagne toast at campus restaurants led by executive team members as well as music and birthday cake.

"For 15 years Ann’s Choice has been an outstanding place to live and work,” said Executive Director Chris Donati. “We look forward to continuing to make a difference in the lives of our residents by supporting a dynamic, engaging and healthy lifestyle where they can live life to the fullest for many more years to come."

“My wife Rosemary and I are living a continuous vacation here at Ann's Choice,” said resident Harry Beam.

“The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the residents are fantastic. Everything we need is here on campus, and we can get to all amenities without even having to go outside which is great in the heat of the summer and the cold of the winter,” said Rosemary Beam.

The 103-acres campus opened in 2003 and is currently home to more than 1,950 residents. The community offers abundant amenities, hundreds of resident-run clubs and activities, on-site restaurants, a state-of-the-art medical center, an all-season pool and a fitness center.

Later this year, the opening of Chestnut Pointe is part of Ann’s Choice multi-year plan to expand and renovate its existing community of continuing care residences and amenity spaces. The new building will connect to the existing three-story continuing care building. When the multi-year project is complete, Ann’s Choice will have a total of 61 assisted living apartment-homes, 44 memory care residences, and 88 skilled nursing residences.

Ann’s Choice employs more than 900 full- and part-time employees and was recognized as “One of the Best Senior Living Communities” by The Intelligencer’s Readers’ Choice Service Awards for two consecutive years and as a Great Place to Work® in 2018.
