Bristol Road To Close At 263 For Intersection Reconstruction
Bristol Road will be closed and detoured at Route 263 in Warminster and Warwick townships for two months beginning Tuesday.

Bristol Road will be closed and detoured at Route 263 in Warminster and Warwick townships for two months beginning Tuesday, July 5, for intersection reconstruction, PennDOT announced this week.
The closure is associated with PennDOT’s $31.6 million project to reconstruct and improve four miles of Route 263 between Bristol Road and Sugar Bottom Road. Construction began in March 2014 and is expected to finish in October 2017.
During construction, traffic will be detoured over Route 611, Route 132 and Route 263, PennDOT said. Local access will be maintained up to the construction zone. Eastbound Bristol Road traffic will be able to reach Route 263 to travel north or south during construction; however, eastbound travelers will not be able to cross the intersection.
