Bucks Chief Deputy Coroner Gone After a Month
Bucks County Coroner Meredith Buck said she is seeking a replacement for Danakelly Hampton following her early November appointment.

BUCKS COUNTY, PA —Less than a month after being sworn in, Danakelly Hampton is no longer working as chief deputy coroner, the Bucks County coroner said.
When asked by Patch whether Hampton was working in the Warminster-based Bucks County Coroner's Office, Coroner Meredith Buck responded: "She is not."
Buck said late Monday that she couldn't comment further on Hampton's departure because it was "an employment issue" and that she is seeking a replacement for the post.

Buck swore in Hampton at the beginning of the month, saying she would bring a wealth of forensic knowledge, training, and experience.

Hampton has worked in forensics since 2007, getting her start as a forensic investigator in the Philadelphia Medical Examiner's Office, Buck had said at that time.
In describing her credentials for the deputy coroner position, Buck said that Hampton had recently returned to the Philadelphia area where she was tasked with turning around the Pennsylvania County Medical Examiner’s Office as the chief of forensic investigations.
