Bucks Man Sentenced For Distributing Methamphetamine

WARMINSTER, PA —A 37-year-old township man has been sentenced for distributing methamphetamine in the York County area in 2021, federal authorities said.
Matthew Moss, 37, of Warminster was sentenced on Jan. 31 to 151 months imprisonment on the charge of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine by U.S. District Court Jennifer P. Wilson, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Pennsylvania said.
Moss previously pleaded guilty and admitted to possessing about 273 grams of methamphetamine for distribution in the York County area in 2021, U.S. Attorney Gerard M. Karam said.

The charge stems from an investigation in which investigators purchased 140 grams of methamphetamine from Moss in November 2021 in York County, authorities said.
During investigators’ attempt to arrest Moss, Moss fled, leading law enforcement on a vehicular and foot chase, authorities said.

During Moss’s arrest, investigators recovered an additional 133 grams of 96-percent-pure methamphetamine from Moss’s vehicle.
The case was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Pennsylvania State Police, and the Springettsbury Township Police Department.
The case is part of Project Safe Neighborhoods (PSN), a program bringing together all levels of law enforcement and the communities they serve to reduce violent crime and gun violence and to make our neighborhoods safer for everyone.
