Drug Take Back Day Is April 27 In Warminster
The collection is anonymous and police advise you to remove all identifying information before disposal.
WARMINSTER, PA — Residents of the Warminster area with prescription drugs around the house that they don't need will have a chance to get rid of them safely next month.
The Warminster Township Police Department is taking part in National Prescription Drug Take Back Day on Saturday, April 27. From 10 a.m.-2 p.m. that day, residents may visit one of several drop-off sites in Warminster to safely dispose of unneeded drugs.

- ShopRite of Warminster, 842 West Street Rd.
- Anne's Choice Village Clubhouse (residents only)
- Warminster Police Department, 401 Gibson Ave.
The take-back day is being done in cooperation with the Bucks County District Attorney's office and the federal Drug Enforcement Agency. The goal is to provide a safe and convenient way to dispose of prescription drugs, while education the public about the potential for abuse of those medications.
Each drop-off site will be manned by a uniformed Warminster Police officer who will collect the old, expired, unwanted or unused medication and transport it to a disposal site. The collection is anonymous and police advise you to remove all identifying information before disposal.
