Election 2023 Results: Magisterial Judge Race Close In Warminster

WARMINSTER, PA —The magisterial race on the Democratic ticket was up for grabs late Tuesday night as results continued to pour in from Tuesday's primary election.

Voters went to the polls Tuesday to decide among candidates running in the primary election for the Centennial School Board, Magisterial Judge, and Bucks County races for coroner and commissioner.

The races feature a battle on the Democratic ticket for Bucks County coroner between incumbent Meredith Buck and challenger Patti Campi. The coroner's office is based in Warminster.

Buck is running on her record as coroner for the past three years, saying she guided her office through the pandemic and also launched a program to bring proper military burials to unclaimed veterans.

Campi is campaigning to share county-specific data regarding the opioid crisis and mental health issues faced by residents of Bucks County.

For Bucks County Commissioner, there is a contested race on the Republican ticket for two seats with incumbent Gene DiGirolamo running against Pamela A. Van Blunk and Andrew L. Warren.

For Magisterial District Judge, three candidates are vying to replace the retiring Daniel J. Finello Jr., who has served Warminster and Ivyland since 2003.

Republican Chris O'Neill and Todd Savarese have both cross-filed in seeking the six-year term. Democrat Mark Greiner is only running on his party's ticket.

In the Centennial School District, Regions 2 and 3 have contested races.

Region 2 —School Board Vice President Patti Crossan and school board member Tony Sadowski are seeking re-election for two, four-year terms. Both have cross-filed against Republican challengers Don McGeary Jr. and Arno Carl F. Vorwerk.

Region 3 —School board member Shelly Eilenberg seeks re-election to a four-year term against Michael E. Hartline. Both have cross-filed for the position.

With 0 percent of Warminster Township precincts reporting, residents went to the polls to vote on their respective party's ballot.

Polls opened at 7 a.m. and closed at 8 p.m. Results by the Bucks County Board of Elections are unofficial. The winners move on to the November general election.

• Pamela A. Van Blunk — 23,989 votes
• Gene DiGirolamo — 20,665 votes

• Chris O'Neill — 841 votes
• Todd Savarese — 1,126 votes

Republican Ballot

• Chris O'Neill — 1,926 votes
• Todd Savarese — 683 votes
