WARMINSTER, PA —Warminster Heights suffered a "tragedy" this week. A family with five children lost everything in a fire late Monday afternoon.

Township Supervisor Janice Charlton made mention of the fire and the family's loss at Thursday night's supervisors meeting. But she also mentioned how the "neighborhood came together" in a moment's notice to help Celeste Soto and her children.

"We had a tragedy this week," she said. "It's been kind of rough for a Warminster family."

But the family needs more help, Charlton said.

A GoFundMe page has been launched to raise funds to help support the family. The page has raised more than $5,000 of a $25,000 goal so far.

Sandra Soto, who organized the page, said a fire took over the home of her sister and five children.

"Luckily, everyone made it out in time with no injuries, but they lost everything," she said. "The family is asking for your kindness and help during this time to get them back on their feet. Anything helps. We appreciate it tremendously."

She said the children range from ages 11 to 20.

The Warminster Township Fire Department and crews from surrounding communities battled the blaze on Sharon Street late Monday afternoon.

The Horsham Township Fire Department, Southampton Fire Company, and the Northampton Township Fire Department assisted in battling the blaze.

"Our wonderful firefighters responded so quickly," Charlton said.
