First Fridays Launched By Meadowlark Bakery In Warminster

WARMINSTER, PA —The Meadowlark Bakery & Cafe will celebrate summer by launching a monthly "First Friday" series.

The bakery at 1414 Old York Rd. in Hartsville Common will hold the first in the series from 4-9 p.m. on Friday.

"We hope to offer a great night for families and friends to come out and enjoy the evening while coming together as a neighborhood," the bakery said.

The event will include local artists and musicians. The bakery also encourages small business owners to share their services with the community.

The Meadowlark Bakery & Cafe will feature new and exciting food, pastry, drink, and ice cream specials.

The bakery celebrated its year anniversary last December.

Owner/Chef Bryan Young has expanded the menu and hours while also introducing smash burgers, ice cream, and breakfast through dinner.

Young, a Maine native, specializes in a vast array of French and American specialty hearth breads, pastries, and savory cuisine.

He attended Southern New Hampshire University and studied Culinary Arts at The Culinary Institute of America, according to the bakery's website.

Young bakes classic French pastries from scratch, his specialty the Kouign Amann, essentially a caramelized croissant, is a fan favorite. He also makes all sorts of breads, sandwiches, and other items.
