Free Winter Coats For Children Available Next Month In Warminster

​The Central Bucks Family YMCA will distribute new children's winter coats during an event next month in Warminster.

The Central Bucks Family YMCA will distribute new winter coats for children during an event next month in Warminster.

The new, youth-sized coats are provided by the Auto Dealers CARing for Kids Foundation’s Driving Away the Cold program. The coats will be distributed on Oct. 19 from 4 to 7:30 p.m. at Warminster Heights Community Center, 75 Downey Drive, Warminster.

Distribution events will also be held Oct. 12 and 13 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Central Bucks Family YMCA, 2500 Lower State Road, Doylestown.

The Auto Dealers CARing for Kids Foundation Driving Away the Cold program is made up of 172 car dealers from Greater Philadelphia who provide new coats to be distributed to children in need.

“Living without basic necessities is a reality for so many children in our area,” said Debbie Tettemer of the Central Bucks Family YMCA. “These coats from local new auto dealers help provide warmth and security for children and their caregivers.”
