GoFundMe Disappears Hours After Mom Charged In Son's DUI Death
Hours after a Bucks County mother was charged in her son's DUI death, a GoFundMe page with a $20K goal to support her has been taken down.

A GoFundMe page created to support a Warminster mother whose son died in a car crash earlier this month has been removed after it was revealed authorities have filed homicide by vehicle while DUI charges against her in connection with the tragic incident.
The Bucks County District Attorney's office announced Tuesday that multiple felony charges have been filed against Kelly Colbridge, 37, in connection with the fatal April 7 crash on Street Road in Upper Southampton.

The crash happened around 9:30 p.m. along the 300 block of Street Road, in the area of Davisville Church. Authorities say Colbridge was driving with a BAC at more than twice the legal limit and had drugs in her system when she lost control of her Dodge Avenger, crashing head-on into another car.
Her 8-year-old son, identified as Daniel Klaus, was in the backseat and was found unconscious at the scene. He was flown to CHOP following the crash and succumbed to head and neck injuries on April 10, police said.

A GoFundMe page established for Colbridge to help pay for her son's medical care and funeral services had been set up; Centennial schools had circulated the link, asking the community to support the fundraiser.
The fundraiser, which had a goal of $20,000 and had raised more than $18,000 by Tuesday evening, was shut down hours after the charges were filed.
All the funds were to go directly to Colbridge, the GoFundMe page said when it was active. It is not clear what will happen to the funds already donated.
"Although he was only 8 years old he made a memorable impression on everyone he met," the GoFundMe page read. "He was always looking out for others and wanted to take care of everyone. He while only 8 looked at himself as 'the man of house' and made sure to take care of his mother Kelly and grandmother Kim."
According to police, the pair was driving home from a party at the popular Bowlero spot, where Colbridge told investigators she had a "few drinks." Colbridge told investigators the last thing she remembers is talking on the phone in a hands-free mode. The next thing she recalls, according to an affidavit of probable cause, is being pulled from the wreckage.
Her blood was drawn upon her arrival to St. Mary hospital. The results revealed her BAC was .168 percent and that she had Clonazepam in her blood, as well as and Meprobamate, a muscle relaxing agent that could further impair the ability to operate a car safety, the affidavit said.
