Manufacturing Innovators To Meet At 'The Fuge'

The gathering in Warminster will feature new inventions and innovations, student displays and manufacturing industry leaders.

WARMINSTER, PA — Some of the manufacturing industry's most innovative minds will gather on the spot where early astronauts prepared to go into outer space.

The Delaware Valley Industrial Resource Center will host the seventh annual Greater Philadelphia Manufacturing Summit on Friday, Oct. 12, at The Fuge. Formerly Johnsville Centrifuge, the site, at 780 Falcon Circle in Warminster, is where, in 1959, the Mercury Seven astronauts began their centrifuge training.

The summit will bring together local and national technology companies, regional manufacturers, academics, makers designers and students for a day of inspiration and education. Organizers say this year's summit focuses on subjects including innovation and advanced manufacturing technologies.
